Hair Coloring Policy

In case of allergies or medical conditions

1. General provisions

Hair coloring involves the use of chemicals and may therefore pose health risks in certain cases. Ensuring a safe service is in the mutual interest of both the client and the salon.

2. Allergic reactions

  • Hair dyes and bleaching agents can trigger an allergic reaction, even if the client has not experienced one previously.
  • The guest is required to give advance notice if:
    • previously had an allergic reaction to hair dye, cosmetics, or chemical substances
    • experienced redness, itching, a burning sensation, or swelling during or after dyeing
  • In the case of a known allergy, the salon:
    • recommends or prescribes a skin test (allergy test)
    • may refuse the service if the painting poses a health risk
  • A guest cannot request hair coloring—even at their own risk—if there is a risk of an allergic reaction.

3. Health status and scalp problems

Hair coloring cannot be performed if any of the following conditions are present on the client’s scalp:

  • open wound, abrasion, bleeding area
  • inflammation, infection, fungal disease
  • severe dandruff, eczema, active stage of psoriasis
  • fresh sunburn or irritation

In these cases, the service is postponed to protect the guest’s health.

4. Pregnancy, Breastfeeding, Medication

  • During pregnancy, breastfeeding, hormone treatment, or long-term medication use, hair and scalp may be particularly sensitive and the color result may become unpredictable.
  • The client is required to disclose this information in advance.
  • In such cases, the salon does not guarantee the color result and reserves the right to decline the service.

5. Client Responsibility

  • It is the client’s responsibility to provide accurate and complete information about their health condition.
  • The salon accepts no liability for allergic or health issues resulting from undisclosed information.

6. Salon Responsibility

  • The salon works exclusively with professional products and expert techniques.
  • The stylist is authorized to interrupt or refuse service if the client’s health may be at risk.

7. Final Provisions

By using the hair coloring service, the client confirms that they have:

  • read and understood these terms
  • provided accurate information about their health condition
  • acknowledged the potential risks
